After completing the 12th grade, students from the arts, commerce, and science streams have several career paths available to them. Here are some common options for each stream :

Arts

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Humanities: Pursue a bachelor's degree in disciplines such as literature, history, sociology, psychology, political science, philosophy, or fine arts. This can lead to career opportunities in fields like education, research, journalism, public relations, civil services, or content writing.

Design and Fashion: Explore programs in design, fashion, interior design, or visual arts. These can lead to careers in fashion designing, graphic design, textile design, product design, or interior decoration.

Social Work: Consider pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work or sociology to work in social service organizations, NGOs, or community development projects.

Commerce

Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com): Opt for a B. Com degree, which provides a foundation in subjects like accounting, finance, economics, business management, and marketing. This can lead to careers in banking, finance, accounting, taxation, the corporate sector, or entrepreneurship.

Chartered Accountancy (CA): Prepare for the CA exams conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to become a chartered accountant. This profession offers opportunities in auditing, taxation, financial management, and consulting.

Company Secretary (CS): Pursue the CS course offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). As a company secretary, you can work in corporate governance, legal compliance, and company administration.

Science

Engineering: Choose engineering as a career option by pursuing a bachelor's degree in fields like computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or biomedical engineering.

Medicine: Prepare for medical entrance exams to pursue a career in medicine. Options include MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), or other allied health sciences programs.

Pure Sciences: Pursue bachelor's degrees in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, or environmental science. This can lead to research-based careers, teaching positions, or opportunities in scientific institutions.

Pharmacy: Opt for a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree to work in the pharmaceutical industry or pursue further studies in pharmacy.
